Dr. Gundu H. R. Rao
Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
A renowned scientist, academician, and a Fulbright Specialist with over five decades of research and teaching experience, Dr. Gundu H. R. Rao currently serves as a Professor at the Department of Pharmacology, University of Minnesota. Dr. Rao has a master’s degree in science from Poona University, PhD from Kansas State University, and two Post-Doctoral Fellowships from Texas A&M University and University of Minnesota. Dr. Rao has authored/co-authored over 300 publications and has established the South Asian Society on Atherosclerosis and Thrombosis (SASAT) to spread awareness on vascular diseases. From 1990-93, he was the senior consultant to the Government of India under TOKTEN. He serves on the advisory board of many medical, scientific and device development organizations. At Stellixir Biotech, we are proud to have Dr. Gundu H. R. Rao as our Chief Technical Officer (CTO).

Mr. Janardhan P. B.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Scientist
Many have ideas, but very few make it happen! Mr. Janardhan P. B. is one of this rare kind. Having completed his bachelor’s and master’s degree in Biotechnology from SK University, Andra Pradesh, Mr. Janardhan P. B. moved to the UK to pursue his M. Res in Molecular Oncology. During this time he received several offers to work with established companies in India and abroad, all of which he rejected to join a start-up in Bangalore - Genelon Institute of Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd. where he established the cell culture facility and worked as a Scientist and CIO. As the company became established, his entrepreneurial instincts triggered a growing perturbation in him. The ideas that struggled in his brain took shape as Stellixir Biotech Pvt. Ltd. in December 2014. Today, he serves as the CEO of the company and is an active researcher who has national and international journal publications to his credit.
Ms. Kavya S.
Chief Program Officer (CPO)
Born and brought up in the Silicon Valley of India, Ms. Kavya S. decided to take the road less travelled when she took an admission for B.E in Biotechnology at Saptagiri College of Engineering, Bangalore. After her B.E, Kavya decided to get her Biotechnological skills pruned through the Biotechnology Industrial Training Program and Biotechnology Finishing School at BiOZEEN Bangaloe Biotech Labs Pvt. Ltd. and Probiosys Centre for Excellence for Life Sciences, both of which were funded by the Central and the State governments. On successful completion of this training, Kavya joined Genelon Institute of Life Sciences as a Research Associate and worked there for over two years. She currently works as the CPO of Stellixir Biotech Pvt. Ltd. and is an active researcher involved in cutting edge research in the areas of Animal Cell Culture and Stem Cell Biology.
Mr. D. Jayasimharayalu
Scientist
Mr. D. Jayasimharayalu is currently a PhD Research Scholar at JNTU, Andra Pradesh, India. He completed his B.Sc in Biochemistry from S.S.B.N Degree College, Andra Pradesh and his M.Sc in Biotechnology from Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Andra Pradesh, India. After the completion of his degree, he worked with Global Institute of Biotechnology as a Research Assistant and project in-charge. Additionally, he also has about 5 years of teaching experience. His research interests lie in Genome sequence and Gene analysis, Bioinformatics, and Molecular Biology. He has immense experience in Molecular Biology, Animal Cell Culture and Bioinformatics. He has international and national publications to his credit.
Mr. Ashutosh Acharya
Research Assistant
Mr. Ashutosh Acharya is a budding Biotech professional whose areas of interest include cancer biology, flow cytometry, drug delivery, and nanoparticles. Having completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Biotechnology in Bangalore University, Mr. Ashutosh worked with Genelon Institute of Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd. as a Research Assistant & Marketing Executive for a short duration after which he joined Stellixir Biotech Pvt. Ltd. where he continues to work today. Mr. Ashutosh has been an active researcher who, even as a student, co-authored a journal publication. To this day, Mr. Ashutosh strives with the same dedication flair for research if not more.
Mr. Siddharth Dubey
Research Assistant
Mr. Siddharth Dubey completed his Bachelor’s in Science from Thakur College of Science and Commerce, Mumbai and his master’s from Oxford College of Science, Bangalore. After completing his education, he worked in Genelon Institute of Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd. as a Research Assistant & Marketing Executive for a short period after which he joined Stellixir Biotech Pvt. Ltd. as a Research Assistant. He has co-authored two journal papers and is involved in an ongoing project on nanoparticles in cancer biology. Mr. Siddharth core interests revolve around Animal Cell Culture and Stem Cell Biology.
Mr. Rakeshlal Singh Oinam
Research Assistant
Having completed his B.Sc and M.Sc degrees in Biotechnology, Rakeshlal Singh Oinam worked as a Quality Controller and microbiologist with IC fresh water, a Bisleri International Pvt. Ltd. Collaboration, for six months before he joined Stellixir Biotech Pvt. Ltd. as a Research Assistant. A budding Cell culture scientist, Rakeshlal Oinam has two research publications to his credit. His research interests include Animal Cell Culture, Cancer Biology and Molecular Diagnostics.
